Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard at the Sjobeck S/S 2010 presentation in LA on October 10

Sjobeck debuted its spring 2010 collection Saturday night at Live! On Sunset. The invite-only soiree was decorated with over-sized beach balls while old surfing videos played on the flat screens. Celeb guests Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard chatted with the designers before The Beach Toys took the stage to play some old-school jams by the sand-covered catwalk.

Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port Get Real About Plastic Surgery

Being in the spotlight takes a toll on the stars of The Hills, and Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge, Kristin Cavallari and Stephanie Pratt are among those MTV reality stars who have resorted to plastic surgery in order to enhance their looks.
(For Heidi, it was a nose job and implants; for Audrina, implants; for Kristin, a nose job; and for Stephanie, a nose job and lip injections.)
I caught up with Hills grads Lauren Conrad, 23, and Whitney Port, 24, to get their views on why their co-stars go under the knife, and how they stay beautiful naturally.
“I think it’s a personal thing,” Whitney, who has moved on to The City, tells me. “If they feel like it’s necessary and it’s going to make them feel more confident, then more power to them.”
For Lauren, the need for plastic surgery stems from growing fame.
“It’s hard because you’re in that position where you’re being criticized for everything,” Lauren, whose novel L.A. Candy is getting the silver screen treatment, tells me. “It’s hard because do you ignore it, and try to be beautiful on your own and be happy with the way you look, or do you listen to the criticism. They put them on this platform, and they tear them apart and then they criticize them even more for changing themselves. It’s hard to say. I think you just try and be confident with the way you are.”
Although Whitney and Lauren don’t admit to enhancing their looks through surgery, they make the best of the features given to them.
Whitney’s go-to beauty product is Fresh Black Tea eye cream, and she wears Trish McEvoy #3 perfume, Snowdrop and Crystal Flowers.
“It smells really fresh,” she says. “It’s springy, fresh and not so pungent.”
Lauren, who says her eyes look “round and boyish,” swears by Mark’s Get In Line liquid eyeliner. As for scents? “I wear 15 different perfumes. Anything with a gardenia in it.”
Whitney laughs, “Oh, so does my mom.”

Audrina Patridge on Recent Split From Corey Bohan

Speaking to In Touch Weekly about her recent split from boyfriend Corey Bohan, Audrina Patridge said at the Surfrider Foundation's 25th Anniversary Gala in L.A., "It's not bad. It was for the best". She didn't provide further explanation about the break-up though.
Generally speaking, the reality TV star simply admitted she found it hard to maintain a love relationship while having her life being put under the spotlight. "It makes it really hard, having people judge you on your fights and not knowing the whole story of what really went on," she complained.

Is Roxy Olin As Tough As She Looks On The City?

On her first day in The City, Roxy Olin did the unthinkable: she sat across the table from Kelly Cutrone, refused to be intimidated and even impressed the no-nonsense PR maven with her blunt sincerity. So far, she's been pretty assertive on the show (like when she went behind Kelly's back at last week's photo shoot), but part of us wondered whether Roxy was hamming it up for the cameras. Well, after stumbling onto Roxy's Twitter account, we decided -- if anything -- the girl's been toning it down! Check out what she tweeted last week after a run-in with the police...
"I got pulled over by the worst cop on ego trip...so not nice!if I wouldn't be put in jail I would knock him out..I think I could take him down;)!"
Yikes. Hope she's more careful driving Kelly Cutrone's Ford around NYC! Something tells us this is one girl who won't be crying her way out of any speeding tickets...

Will Kristin Cavallari And Jayde Nicole Throw Down On 'The Hills'?

If new episodes of "The Hills" keep going in the same direction, then there's bound to be a catfight between Brody Jenner's ladies: former flame Kristin Cavallari and current girlfriend Jayde Nicole. Kristin and Brody have both hinted at a possible romantic reconciliation, so Jayde's bound to get pretty upset, right?
If those two were to throw down, Brody is pretty sure the fight would be dirty. "Ha! That would be a battle to the death," he told MTV News at the red carpet for the Hollywood Style Awards in Los Angeles.
Another of Brody's former lady friends, Lauren Conrad, happened to be at the event, and she seemed surprised that Brody and Kristin would ever get back together. "Are they hooking up?" she said with a grin on her face. "I didn't know that. I have no feelings on that."
Back in September, Brody told MTV News that Kristin and him have always gotten along famously and that maybe Jayde wasn't always going to like it.
"Let's just say Kristin and I have a great relationship. I'm just going to keep it at that," he said. "We have a good relationship. It could be a good friendship, I mean, just a relationship. We really get each other, so I'm just going to go 'no comment' on that one. Jayde, she doesn't mind — for now. I'll say that."
